Exactly. That’s my point. He created these shows. And so many people have zero faith that he’d create a quality reboot.

There’s nothing she can do. That’s my point. I don’t have issue with her saying what she says. She’s a politician.

The problem is with the idiots that think that what she says actually means anything. Given enough time, she’ll be labeled as another “do nothing” politician along with the rest of them.

The Democrats are hated because they’re not doing shit to stop trump, meanwhile AOC is incapable of doing wrong- while ALSO not doing shit to stop trump.

If you’d have read Bill Lawrence’s interview on the subject, you’d know that’s this isn’t about money. And I’d trust the guy who created Ted Lasso and shrinking to do what it takes to make this worth watching.

If we allow for the fact that nuance exists, and apply it to a response, then I agree:

I didn’t ignore the question. I saw it. I just chose to dismiss it.

What more can she do is irrelevant to the statement that simply saying something is bad does nothing at all.

There’s probably nothing she can do. Which is fine. My problem isn’t with her and what she can or can’t do, it’s with all the idiots that think that simply saying “he’s a bad man!” Is somehow going to move the needle.

Words aren’t action. And when we get around to accepting this- maybe things will start actually start happening. Until then. I suppose pretending that calling a spade by its name is actionable.

Just because she’s more vocal about him being a pos, doesn’t mean she’s done any more than the “do nothing democrats” have.

It’s hilarious how many people are so up her ass when she’s done little more than those you all hate- aside from a few scathing speeches.

Face reality- no one is doing shit about any of it. We are on our own. And masking this fact behind a bunch of “We Need to Stop This Madness” speeches, while doing nothing to stop the madness, seems to only placate the ignorant.

Sadly, at the end of the day, nothing will continue to happen.

And don’t mistake my words for some anti-AOC rhetoric. I think she’s amazing. However, I’m not dumb enough to believe there’s anything more to it than just that: words.

But by all means. Keep rallying for more Stop the Madness speeches if they help you cope and deny reality.

Nothing is going to change. Not anytime soon, and not by any means AOC has control over.
