'main' is much clearer. It's maybe not the same readability gain as 'blocklist/allowlist' over 'blacklist/whitelist', but it's still there.

I would argue that it's best/easiest to leave existing projects on master, and just use main for new ones. Either way I agree, people arw reactionary af about this issue

regardless of that, it's never inconvenienced me and it's still a net gain in readability, since main actually means what it means. have my shell scripts set up to use either one for any repo I'm in automatically.

When we measure calories in food we are speaking of bioavailable chemical energy. The energy listed for Uranium here is not chemical, it's the nuclear potential energy released during nuclear fission which is completely different.

That was probably obvious but ackshyually if we include the nuclear potential energy that could be released from fusion, I would wager the water in that food has enough hydrogen to give the same amount of energy, since hydrogen carries far more nuclear potential energy.

Open-backed headphones in public will have everyone around you hearing your music no? Doesn't seem suitable for public transport for example.

And I just don't like in-ear anymore... Used them for about a decade but it's always discomfort and trying to get them in just right, and I tried so many models. Not to mention you need to clean your ears all the time or risk pushing the wax deeper into your ear canal each time (or getting it all over the ear bud)

For me personally, the sweat is a small price to pay for the comfort and sound quality of over-ear headphones. Plus they're harder to lose!
