I have had a similar experience with the sockets, ratchets and wrenches. I've got some of the T handle hex wrenches and I've broken the 6mm twice now. Thankfully they have honored the lifetime warranty for them.
I agree, there is some crap, but overall for most home use the tools are fine. If it's something you use every day, I would buy a better brand, but for occasional use they are decent for the price in my opinion.
At the local store here they stand 10ft past the turnstiles... My tactic is to just make no eye contact and veer away ASAP. If that fails, I tell them I already had one and learned my lesson. They don't follow up with anything after that in my experience.
This too causes me anxiety, and I have considered avoiding that location because of it. The other stores in the area don't do this thankfully.
I've been inside a jet that was a "sultan's" and it was tacky af. Nothing in there was cool, not even a little bit. Gold everywhere just because, hideous religious murals, tassles and gaudy fabric everywhere. Everyone else i know who saw it said the same thing. This aircraft had a fucking operating room in it because this person traveled with a surgeon like most normal people.
It was a disgusting display of wealth and really that people this rich often have no taste. I'm sure this is no different.
I wasn't watching wrestling at the time, but I think he was involved for awhile, more than just a chair to the back. I think WWF and The Apprentice were how he came to be seen as a tough guy and a good businessman by his base. It's darkly hilarious, yet saddening.
I was watching his speech live on CBC and the seat counts were on the bottom of the screen. I shit you not, maybe 10-30 seconds after he said this bit about denying the coalition, the seats flipped over so the coalition was possible. It went back quickly after and then back to coalition possible. I laughed very hard.
I can't find a video where the reported polls are included like on the live broadcast though. It makes me sad because it was priceless. I believe the seats were 164/165 Liberal and 7 NDP.
Using "racking" instead of the correct "wracking" in "wracking my brain". Not very common, but it annoys me... But not as much as "could of"... That is the worst, just stop it!
Not defending the 88, he could be a racist, but he's apparently from Taiwan. It is a common number in Chinese culture, guessing Taiwan too. Where I live there have been a couple of businesses with "88" in the name and both were Chinese.
