I can also disconnect from the main and have hot water. Not sure what a water heater has anything to do with pumping the basement waste water out to the city/septic tank.

It's definitely not specific to my area. Septic tanks are common around the world, for example.

Then the comment obviously doesn't relate to you. I stated in the first comment about a basement.

If you don't have a basement, you can't shower in your basement..

How does gravity pump the water from a basement UP? Sump pumps are used.

Unless you're showering in the basement, then your pump doesn't work, and you'll flood the basement as soon as you fill up the waste water tank.

In Canada my girlfriend was exposed. She called the testing places to tell them, and to book a test. They told her no, and to go away.

When I realized the already small percentage of people that are trying to use this system were being denied, I disabled it. It's actually useless.

Whatever you're putting in the allow list is being allowed.

Usernames, IPs, etc.

Whatever you're putting in the block list is being.. blocked.

How was white and black descriptive?

I remember making a Minecraft server in 2009 and not understanding what whitelist and blacklist meant.

Allow/Block makes sense. White/Black doesn't.

Or we can be happy they changed it to something easier to understand.

If you're angry about a word change, when it makes it easier to understand, you're probably racist.

I'm glad it's easier to understand, and has the added benefit of PoC feeling more inclusive.

Allow/block makes sense. White/black makes no sense. Words have meaning, let's use them properly.

If you're upset about changing the words to better explain what they do, you're racist. There's literally no reason to oppose a word change when it makes it easier to understand.
