Right, but there are some people who are both gay (satisfying the LGTBQ bit) and Republican, which is very strange to say within the same sentence in today’s age. Only reason I say that is because I have known a couple of these kinds of people and it was… interesting, to say in the least.

But the two aren’t mutually exclusive? This doesn’t tell anybody anything because one thing relates to politics and the other thing relates to sexuality and gender identity.

Glad to see Jon back again, even if it’s only for Mondays. I honestly think we need his voice again in the political discourse - it’s something that has been missing in recent years. He’s probably the closest analogue I could think of for a “modern age” George Carlin, and I think we could use some of that in today’s world.

I hope not, it’s two different systems and I personally prefer VT’s system.

Vermintide is literally “click button”, but the intricacies come from the weapon itself; what is the combo order for light and heavy attacks, when can you weave certain attacks into other attacks (e.g. doing Light 1 - Heavy 2 - Block Attack - repeat for dealing with heavy armor units with a halberd vs Heavy 1 - Light 2 - Block Cancel - repeat for hordes), the properties of each weapon (how much stagger does it cause? Can it cleave through lots of enemies? Does it do more armor damage or is it better for non-armor enemies?), how much can you block vs dodge attacks with each weapon… it’s more akin to something like a first-person Dark Souls or Dynasty Warriors.

Mount and Blade, on the other hand, doesn’t really have an in-depth combo system with weapons being more or less the same and I just turn up the sensitivity so I can flick the camera to do extra damage ez pz. Not really engaging imo.

If a game copies what another game does but does it better and/or gives it own spin on things (which PalWorld arguably does, considering that you can have your Pokemon Pals fight with machine weaponry and also enslave capture people as Pals), I don’t see how that can be a bad thing. Otherwise, people should be up in arms about every roguelike Metroidvania or Soulslike game.

Man, if only there was some sort of energy source that is not only green and renewable, but also outputs a ton of energy rather efficiently…

He doesn’t need to check them, but he can certainly go “hey, make sure we’re following safety protocols!” so others can actually do that work - or at least, Baldwin can cover himself by saying he was trying to follow safety protocol.

You say it’s the armorer’s fault (which it is), but Baldwin still could’ve done more to ensure safety on his end without checking every weapon prop like you said. Ask yourself: if the people in charge don’t follow policy and procedure, do you think the people below them would?

I would still say Baldwin is at fault since he wasn’t doing what he could to ensure safety on the set with real guns and live ammunition. The armorer fucked up 100% for sure, but they shouldn’t be the first and last line for following safety policies and SOPs - anybody in a leadership or managerial role should also be enforcing it.

If you think porn and sexuality being normalized is a bad thing, you should reaaaaaaally think hard on your beliefs for a minute.

Sure, there’s the objectification of both men and women that pornography produces - that is a bad thing, but that’s not solely form porn either. Marketing ads love to objectify people (especially women) for an extra buck or two, and those are practically shoved in our faces openly every single day. Social media is basically just a gallery of this shit too if you’re just looking at whatever garbage the platform feeds you based on trends and what not.

Porn itself isn’t bad, and sexuality is arguably as important as both intellectual and emotional depth are because we’re humans and we have that primal part of our brains still. Yet in the US, for example, both of those things are worse than, say, a violent film. To me, that is the messed up part here.
