Honestly, I truly believe that both Democratic and Republican politicians benefit from all the bullshittery going on - so of course they’ll actually do nothing to improve the situation for America’s citizens. As long as they get money and they get paid, they’ll say and do whatever the fuck they can, including fucking things up for us.
Probably not much better across the pond, but I am finding myself more and more looking up how to become a UK citizen because at least they have less zany shit going on from what I can tell.
Adding onto that, one can argue nobody is buying because of Kanye’s antisemitic statements. Basically, if you buy one, people might take that as you actually supporting antisemitism - even if you only got the shoes because you like them. Thus, the company finds them worthless because people have reasons to not buy the shoes.
Oh wow, you mean to tell me that between paying disgustingly high rent, car payments, car insurance, gas, increasing food prices for less food than before, and having buying power that is stagnant at best and shrinking in most cases due to inflation, it’s hard to be financially stable?
Next thing you know, that article will tell me water is wet.
We literally would not be the US if it weren’t for France, they sent a ton of troops to support us during and even a bit after the American Revolutionary War.
It’s because Christianity (and by nature, offshoots of it) was, and still is, a means of control.
Let’s not forget the roots of Christianity was from when it was a literal cult; you were considered a part of the Christian Cult if you practiced Christianity before iirc either Theodosius or Constantine became the Roman Emperor and made it into the state religion. Christmas was also stolen from Sol Invictus as a means to help bridge the transition into Christianity.
Spoiler alert: This would have most likely happened regardless of the D or R next to the president’s name on the ballot.
There’s two reasons I could see the US supporting Israel regardless of who’s in charge: the logical one because it has historical precedent is that the US wants Israel as a buffer for Russia due to it’s strategic location in the Middle-East, and the other reason is more conspiracy theory but I wouldn’t be surprised if the US can somehow get access to Palestine’s oil if Israel beats the shit out of the Hamas.
Damn OP, you really farming internet points with the long-ass list of crossposts I gotta get through before I could write this comment lol
