I've always been a power user but never minded Windows until W11. Luckily WSL was a great gateway drug for me and I ended up switching to Linux full-time after living inside WSL for a few weeks.
I was in a similar position earlier this year. Problem was most non smart TVs were business grade and very expensive. Ended up with a Samsung Smart TV but didn't hook it up to the Internet. Fits my needs and remote is only ever used for changing HDMI devices. It boots up in about 10 seconds.
Interesting. Before I got my license, I was really worried I would have trouble focusing on driving. As it turns out for me I love doing it and actually seek it out. I kinda hyperfocus when I do it so I'm able to keep going for hours.
If anything, I feel refreshed after a nice drive. That said, if it's straight highway for hours it's a different story. I'll need to rest after a long road trip. Especially if it was understimulating.
I think the VM support is better on Windows 11. I tested gaming on both 10 and 11 on my Linux install and 11 performed better. Otherwise, agreed 11 is a downgrade
Isn't that what Google and Samsung already do?
