That's exactly the point I was making.

They could have promoted it as happy hour style discounts and had a much different response.

Things will absolutely get better. After the inevitable disaster, of course, and we may not be here to see it, but they will get better.

The biggest issue for me was always filtering. Having a hole in the bottom to drain without having to kick up all the grounds made the whole process so much easier. I actually got into cold brew because I liked the convenience of store bought, but not the price. Haven't made a pot of hot coffee in over a year!

I've heard people say cold brew is the best way to deal with bad coffee. I just like the convenience of having it ready to drink instead of having to brew it fresh every morning.

Toddy has a cold brew container that makes the process really easy. It has a filter disc at the bottom. I ended up buying some reusable cotton filter bags since their paper filters were a bit expensive.

I use the 12 oz whole bag of coffee per batch and fill the toddy up with water to the top. It makes about two liters/quarts of coffee. I usually top up the pitcher I store the coffee in with a few ounces of water in an attempt to keep the concentration consistent between batches.

Fish oil is great for this. I get one that comes in a pump bottle. It helped with their arthritis, too.

I like two monitors for work (center and side) and one for personal.

How much demand is there for LAN play, though? The friends I would want to play with are cities and states away, so we couldn't use LAN even if we wanted to.

FYI the disable chat bug has been fixed for several months now. We're also getting true offline mode with 1.0 tomorrow. I think the current version of "offline" will still be available, but I'm not certain.

Just to be clear, which faction you choose does not impact who you can group with. Items that drop because you're in circle of fortune will require that faction to use that item, but the base item drops won't require either faction. You can even give items to party members that were present when the item dropped (like D3), or if you party with the same people often you'll get special materials that will let you give them items even if they weren't there when it dropped.

The whole system is a really creative solution to how to balance loot for both trade and self found players.

The in app purchases are entirely cosmetic. The shop is set up to be really player friendly, though. For example, item prices and currency amounts match, and there aren't any bonuses for buying more at once. You can even buy up to 200 stash tabs with regular in game gold.

There isn't an option for local LAN play as far as I know.

Why use the mod at all when you can just use the launch command to disable it?

Partly, I assume, because nature is decidedly incivil.

The visor could be hinged or a completely separate piece that attaches with a strap. Also the person wearing this would likely have assistance getting suited up.

No, I'm not okay with the police having any such patches. My comment wasn't about that though.

Considering the Israeli flag is just the star of David with a couple stripes, I'm not surprised the article missed that distinction. I don't think the police should have the patch regardless, just to be clear.

Which is why my comment clearly differentiates between the Jewish religion and the Israeli government.

The star of David is a Jewish symbol. The Jewish religion is separate from the Israeli government. The government may be committing genocide in the name of the religion, but that doesn't mean the entire religion is genocidal.
