Boo hoo.

One of my first "hacking" a device was putting Rockbox on a 4 gb Samsung MP3 player in 2010. This device wasn't meant to play/watch videos, but Rockbox unlocked that capability. It had a tiny screen, but still.

2015 - 2018 I pirated very, very little. Didn't need to. Between Netflix, Hulu, and HBO, I wanted for nothing. Then, every time I went to the bathroom, someone was creating their own streaming service. Suddenly everyone was pulling their IP from Netflix and Hulu. Netflix wouldn't stop raising their prices. Their original shows are ok, but their movies are terrible.

If that's what I meant then I would have simply said that. If that's what you choose to believe, so be it. Most observant people can see this is a rather large echo chamber. It's really obvious.

For the sake of argument (and I don't care enough to go digging), let's say it was no more than 40 seconds, but you didn't respond to the rest of my comment so I'll assume you're in agreement.

It was several scenes. Mostly between the doctor and Stamets. More than "30 seconds".

No other character stated their pronouns, so how am I supposed to know everyone elses? The same way people figured it out since day 1. And here's an easy way for us to know. Other characters can call him by it, and then we'll know. Not everything has to be outright stated on camera for the audience to figure it out.

There's very little quality on Lemmy. It lacks diversity. It's quite authoritarian left. Tankies under every rock. Even in non-politics communities. I still use a forked version of Boost to lurk reddit. But as someone else said, if never recommend Lemmy to anyone I actually know.

Well said. I don't think new Trek has been too "woke" (whatever that means because no one can define it). The only one that was over the top was that kid who was non-Trill that had a symbiont. For being in the 31st century (or whatever) they focused too much on his they/them nonsense. You're not suppose to mention it. When you make a thing of it, it doesn't come across as normal. That's like TOS making a big deal of a black woman working on the bridge. Sure, in reality it was a big deal at the time, but being set in the 23rd century it should be normal by then.

New Trek sucks for all the reasons you said. God awful writing, poor dialog, and plenty of bad actors. No character development. I can only remember a few characters names from Discovery. The rest I just physically describe: chick with metal on half of face, robot chick, darked haired guy and blonde chick who stood in the back of the bridge sometimes, and chick with African name.

I only continued to watch it for Stamets (after he chilled out), Saru, and Georgiou.

Also using the A53. It's certainly not the snappiest phone, but damn it, it holds my entire music library and all the movies I could want. Slapped a 512gb microsd card into this bad boy.

Right? Modern medicine is keeping people alive longer, and I'm not going to judge someone for wanting to keep the home they've probably lived in for many years.

I don't rent, but from what I read it's out of control, and corporations buying up homes, putting in the bare minimum to fix up (read: lazy/cheap contractors) and asking way more than it's worth. Now, of course you don't have to pay it, but if everyone is asking overprice, what are people suppose to do?

Well if you write in someone who is "apocalyptically bad" that one is definitely on you.

Or write in someone you believe would actually be good at the job. Then you don't have to vote for someone you believe to be unqualified.
