I thought there was something wrong with my wired earbuds I plug in to my laptop, because I was hearing clicks in them at random times. Turns out I was because I was putting my phone back down on the cables. I always theorised it was my phone trying to charge itself wirelessly, but it definitely makes more sense if it's NFC related.
Controversial take, but I hold so much space for kids in that age range. Being a teen/tween fucking sucks. School (feels at the time like it) sucks. Puberty sucks. Bullying sucks. Coming from a poor family or shitty home dynamic sucks. Not sleeping properly and getting up early for public transport to school sucks.
So, fuck yeah, do your TikTok dances, listen to music on speakerphone, drink your huge Slurpee, and take up a seat instead of giving it up to an adult that has probably sat on a wheelie chair all day. Just do your best.
I'm familiar with that policy actually! In this case I'd picked up two different things from two separate "2 for" promotions without realising it, and in order to prove it he tried to scan them both twice each and that still didn't give the discount. A that point I think he just said fuggit and set one to $0 haha.
Found out recently Windows can control backlight brightness on most external monitors, it's just not a feature it wants to implement natively. Twinkle Tray does the trick nicely though!
I don't fuck under the covers usually, I couldn't tell you! But I have spilt chocolate and coffee on them. They look and feel brand new still after a year of washing and machine drying. Seems safe with oxygen bleach.
They aren't sweaty/hot to me. I sleep hot at the best of times, I think I would have noticed if they make it worse.
I've not had the need to air dry them, my guess is they'd be similar to cotton.
Mobile Muster has drop off points at lots of phone shops, you can also get a free shipping label from AusPost. They take phones, phone accessories, modems, smart watches etc. but do not accept every type of ewaste.
IKEA will take light bulbs and batteries. Officeworks will take ink cartridges and storage media (CDs, hard drives).
Sounds like you've already checked out your local council's service. City of Melbourne will accept larger ewaste at a few locations. If you live in an apartment building you might be able to book an ewaste wheelie bin.
The vast majority of buildings in this particular guide I'm reading seem to have been supplanted. Seems something of a shame but, equally, nothing stops progress.
