The Slab is an affront to god (that I would have tried by now if I wasn't certain it would inflict on myself severe gastrointestinal distress).

The union rally is absolutely massive. I think they are heading to Flagstaff Gardens along La Trobe.

Everything I've read says it starts at 11 at Trades Hall. (I believe AMWU members are separately meeting at their office at 10.30 before moving to Trades Hall for 11.)

When you're drinking with someone, oldest person pours first, make a whirlpool in the bottle, tap the bottom with the palm of your hand firmly, open it then poke the top of the bottle between your first and second digit (ideally spilling some), pour with two hands covering the label, never pour a drink for yourself, the first drink is taken as a shot (the rest can be shot or sipped), turn away from/avoid eye contact with the person who poured your drink if they're older than you. It's a whole thing but not mandatory haha

Okay Kmart has just got these really cool iridescent skull candles in, and it is taking every ounce of self-control to leave them on the shelf. I do NOT need to spend this money. 😂

I'm grateful for the new laundromat near me -- and the dryer still works so I think I can make do for a couple weeks thankfully. But lugging around a wet load of washing yesterday in the rain was not fun!

My washing machine has broken down :( Booked in a service but I somehow need to get the dryer off the top before then 🤔 Gonna be an expensive fuck around all up.
