  • The rest you can find on itch.io or the builtin catalog.

I know this is a piracy community but these games are usually made by single devs or small studios, so buying them seems like a good choice if you can afford it. That’s also one of the reasons these games are not likely to be posted on torrent sites or similar sources.

  • 200$ / month is insane, wow. From what I can tell, lots of people seem to start pirating way more. It looks like it’s common to be subbed to your favorite streaming service and put the rest on Plex.

  • Why are they forcing users to YouTube Music anyway? They could improve the product before killing all of their other services.

YouTube Music doesn’t even remember where you left off. Switch to your phone? Music queue is gone. Close the tab? Music queue is gone. Anything other than an algorithm curated playlist will make you have a shit experience on YouTube Music.

  • The Windows specific issues that average users have are usually caused by bloatware that comes preinstalled on the machine or some obscure driver issue (which Linux can also have - maybe even more so than Windows).

MacOS has the least issues for me but I disagree with it being underwhelming. Might be an unpopular opinion in this community but I quite enjoy using it. It’s a fully fledged unix system with some really good software.

  • I canceled it at the beginning of the year. Im not missing anything and I try to diversify the stores I purchase from.

The only thing that sucks is when I HAVE to use amazon for something. They will nag you so hard to get prime. It only makes me avoid them even more.

  • Well, there's also Tauri which requires slightly more testing since you actually use the device's built-in browser, so there might be differences. The upside is a much smaller bundle size, quick start-up times and often less RAM usage than with Electron.
