Not my Apollo feed but I remember people complaining about posts from certain subs they didn’t like in their feed, so I’m guessing the official app does that?
The thing with mostodon and lemmy is that the feed is not algorithmicly tailored to you with the goal to get you to spend as much time as possible. That’s why these experiences are usually more relaxed and fulfilling than what the big players offer.
And I wish they did. With all the „fuck spez“ and 3rd party app grief, people do surprisingly little to improve the current situation and link to Reddit alternatives.
Did you try https://vger.app? If you can get a somewhat current browser on your device, this provides one of the best lemmy experiences. Just install it as a PWA.
Man I remember the same thing. I mentioned that my cats deworming pills are relatively expensive (as in expensive for a simple mass produced pill) and some person went on a rant how there are so many animals that are disregarded by their owners and what not. It’s strange.
I didn’t mention that I’m not buying them for her or that I’m avoiding other expenses.
I didn’t look back after moving here. The only thing where Reddit still excels is its old content that you bump into when searching stuff on Google and the presence of official corporate accounts/ subreddits.
I'm on feddit.de - I was on lemmy.ml before but unfortunately the default instance is getting hammered pretty hard both by real users and apparently also DDOS attacks now.
Feddit.de is hosted close to me and therefore very quick and also reliable. It's one of the biggest lemmy instances but small enough to be well moderated.
Bitwarden has better features and more clients are available for it. Proton Pass doesn't offer anything that Bitwarden does not except for a slightly nicer looking browser extension and mobile client.
I have access to both and tested them recently, so I think I got a pretty good picture of them both.
I agree that it’s pretty good and I also use it as my main way of accessing lemmy. It could be improved though and I hope the devs implement some tablet / desktop improvements later on.
Did they change it recently or was I mistaken?
