Google Pixel 9 design revealed through 5K renders

  • The Pixel 9 will have rounded corners with a flat display and a centered punch-hole selfie camera. The power button and volume keys are placed on the right side of a flat frame. The smartphone will feature a 6.03-inch display, slightly smaller than the Pixel 9 Pro’s 6.1-inch display.

    In terms of dimensions, the Pixel 9 measures around 152.8 x 71.9 x 8.5mm, and 12mm with the rear camera bump, OnLeaks tells us.

    So imitating Apple, a bunch of useless stuff like "adaptive touch depending on environment" and wireless charging.

    Still no headphone jack.

  • Dnf is nice, rpm-ostree not so much.

    Nala is the best by far.

    Cargo is also nice.

    Have a look at nala! It needs some depencies but is a huge upgrade

  • Thats not really possible here. All they do is install multiple distros in parallel.

  • At least they had screws? I dont trust HDMI or even worse USB-C. Still using VGA monitors with adapters, never broke a single plug.

  • I mean it is basically profit on the back of cheap smartphone labor and a lot of wasted electricity, but it works. The stupid amazon giftcards are a problem, you could sell them for anonymous paying though.

  • It is written in Bash which I guess makes it pretty high level and stable. Until it breaks it shouldnt need much work.

    Bash is damn slow though, so fastfetch (mainly in C) is way better for the "arch flex"

    • Why do fdroid main repo keep apps that has not been updated in 12 years ? Isn't it more logical to move apps that has not been updated in more than three years to the archive ?
