My wife and I would consider another kid if the fed wanted to kick us an extra $25k per year.

A one time fee of $5K is hilarious. You'd maybe be able to cover the hospital bill from having the kid with that sum.

Lifesavers had a bowling game on their site that was actually a ton of fun and decent quality. All the balls were patterned to look like their candy, but still. It was free and that's where the advertisements ended.

I feel like I need Facebook. I used to belong to dozens of forums between RC cars, aquarium stuff, and robotic stuff. All but one has shuttered, and Facebook Groups are my only option to connect with people for my hobbies, especially locals. Even state clubs used to have their own forums.

I dont know. I think there could be an inventory of replicas. You can get a 1911 in multiple calibers already, as you can many revolver frames. There's no reason they couldn't make custom ones.

My childhood friend had a farmhouse that had a back door facing west (I believe that was the direction), and when you opened the door and a specific set of windows, the whole house turned into a wind tunnel. Different watches for different occasions, just like ties, shoes, glasses, and every other piece of jewelry. Negative. You want humidity, otherwise the necks dry out and warp.

A lot of music stores have their acoustic guitars in closed rooms which basically act as giant humidors. Some players go as far as having a humidifier in each guitar case.

As long as the humidifier isn't spewing directly on a guitar, you want one in the room.

Strings will rust over time, but they'd do that just about anywhere where there is moisture in the air, humidifier or not.
