It’s not that cartels aren’t bad, but labeling them as terrorists groups gives the US different rights by international law. For example asylum seekers that use coyote to cross the border are labeled as criminals. Also “allows” the US to invade Mexico and deal with the terrorists

Put your thermostat on a timer. I have mine heat to 67 at night and raise it to 72 at 5 am. Waking up to a toasty house is amazing.

Can we stop blaming Trump for companies hiring undocumented workers so they can pay them less? I hate the guy but he didn’t cause this. We can’t allow companies to bypass laws by not paying benefits and taxes to employees.

Essentially because we are a country of immigrants people with similar cultures tend to group together. For example there are parts of cities that are predominantly Italian or Chinese. Not because we are racist but because that just happens naturally. People want to share an experience a culture similar to their home country.

Obviously there is always a chance that someone will say something but just ignore them or tell them to mind their own business. You have our blessing to treat those people with absolute disrespect.

He was one of the first people saying to ban it in 2020. To me it’s more like he is easily swayed with lobbying so it ends up looking like he is a pioneer on pushing new policy when in actuality he is the first person people go to when they need to bribe a politician.

Obviously take this with a grain of salt but a spokesperson of China already said they approve of this cultural exchange.

Remember Rednote is approved by the CCP so there was already propaganda on the app and they are using this time to piss off Americans about some of our poor policy choices. Obviously there is not much negative stuff of China on the app.

I was scrolling rednote today and there are a lot of forms of propaganda.

I noticed a lot of the videos are geared towards showing how great life is in China versus the US. That seems innocuous but it is a form of propaganda.

Wonder how this is going to affect unemployment. One of the effects people don’t talk about with these programs is that appearance guidelines get rolled back also. All these people with face tattoos and piercings will also suffer from these rollbacks.
