  • Terrible idea not only for Californians but also the rest of America. Yes California produces a lot and has a huge economy but succeeding would remove almost any big tech headquarters immediately. Silicon valley would be dead. No company is going to willingly pay export fees for every single product they make. They will all move their headquarters somewhere they can freely sell to the other 49 states and force the export fees on California

    The additional import/export taxes on top of all the retalitory tariffs that would be placed on the citizens would be crazy.

  • I don’t understand the hate on DEI initiates. DEI is just make sure you hire a diverse work group. So if these dei employees are bad, that’s 100% on the company for hiring them. Nobody made them hire that specific person and 99/100 times employees are bad because no one trains them.

  • I think it depends on the person. Honestly when I had the night shift I was sleeping longer because I wasn’t getting much REM sleep because noise or sun.

    With the right setup like really good curtains and empty house I’m sure it’s possible to balance the schedule and not oversleep. On my current schedule I’m only sleeping 6-7 hours. Night shift I was sleeping 9-10.

  • It’s not that cartels aren’t bad, but labeling them as terrorists groups gives the US different rights by international law. For example asylum seekers that use coyote to cross the border are labeled as criminals. Also “allows” the US to invade Mexico and deal with the terrorists
