Seriously, each new windows update just adds a fresh new coat of paint on top, as if to make finding the actually useful win 7 and xp menus, that are still there, harder.

Islam isn't better at it than other religions it just happens to be the major religions in the countries where those fanatics managed to seize the power
That's no coincidence imo.
I see all religions as negative, but Islam is the only one I can personally attest to, being an ex muslim. It's cult-y and tends to bring out the worst in people, more so than most religions from what I've seen.
Fanatics and extremists exist regardless of religions. The latter just allows them to control people easier, and islam happens to be particularly good at that.
Of course, most 'religious' people have enough common sense to not follow them to the T. When the government is religious though, like islam encourages, you have a big problem
Yeah fauxbait's name is weird, even if it is a term used in adult sites. But they're only posting pics of models from, and clearly watermarked by, well known adult sites though, with a strict age verification rule for every post/model. Thinking that it "looks like jailbait" with all that is probably the most pessimistic way of looking at it - they're just young looking adults.
I think most people coming across it would understand the admins' indecision to ban a comm for a bad name. We don't have a way to change a comm's name in Lemmy yet.
Ig this sort of thing is inevitable with a decentralized model. But as the admin said, the beauty of the fediverse is that users can just use a different instance if they don't agree.
It is a shame though that this is tainting the view of lemmynsfw for some people, as seen from your comment. It's a very positive instance all in all.
