  • Or getting your doctor say (tho way more nicely): "Some of your conditions may be caused by being fat. Please go to this public-healthcare-funded dietary assistant that will create an individual dietary plan for you".

Lost 20kg in the months following it and stayed at the lower end of the "slightly overweight" area since 2 years.

I'm in no way a healthy person, but I would be way less healthy without public Healthcare. And probably wouldn't be a net positive to the economy as well.

And in an economic view: If I would not have received Healthcare when I was broke and homeless I wouldn't have been able to pay more in taxes and back into public healthcare in the last two years than I have ever received in my life before.

  • I guess it would actually work.

Imagine you're right in the act and suddenly somebody stands next to you and screams fus ro dah. I would definitely instinctively jump in the other direction

  • My adventurers (who live with me currently) already learned two things:

    • A smirking DM is a bad sign
    • laughter and a "why shouldn't I try this?" while preparing the next session is an even worse sign.

I was never really a power-hungry guy, but nothing gives a more powerfull feeling than grinning and throwing the dice while my adventurers wait for wtf is happening.

On that note, the goose of war meme was quite inspirational.

  • To be fair it could maybe be counted under unnatural variations.

He is styling it in a way that is not typical for the society he actively participates in.

(second part not necessarily connected to your comment anymore)

But I think it's stupid to ban hair styles anyway. I often had some classmates with weird hairstyles and guess what, didn't distract me from school.

In my opinion the dresscodes for school should be:

    • cover your genitals generously, ass and boobies (regardless of gender. I think there isn't place for shirtless guys in school outside of the gym). In general that means pants/dress/skirt and a shirt/top, but I wouldn't care if they wear a toga or whatever.
    • don't wear extreme political symbols or other obviously widespread offensive symbols (e.g. a swastika)
    • unless absolutely required by your religion, or physical reasons like a burnt face, never wear anything that covers your face. (medical masks in case of illness or pandemics excluded)

And that should be it (this list includes my limitations on hair styles and tattoos as well)

  • Huh?

Soccer games are like the only* socially accepted events where you can proudly bring out a german flag without looking like a nationalist. At world championship the whole city is a sea of black-red-gold.

    I'm quite surprised.

Tho I'm not a soccer fan and therefore don't know how that looks abroad.

*(hyperbolic; guess if we think more than a few seconds we could find more, nut that's not that important of a point here)
