  • I loved his movies. FFH wasn't as good, it felt a bit more slapstick with him fumbling around a lot. They toned down Mysterio to make him more palatable which is a shame. But otherwise they nailed the essence of him. I'm excited to see him come back through his crew.

Him specifically, he's fine for what they're doing with his iteration. I still would rather Garfield's just be incorporated into the MCU. Holland's feels too nice to be as snarky as Garfield's. I don't think it's Holland's fault, they just wanted him chatty and naive. Plus Garfield was already self-reliant.

But if they had gone down that route with Holland, I think he could have nailed it even better since it would be more unexpected. Garfield's Spider-Man wore his anger on his sleeves.

They could easily do jokester/mocking with Holland now that he's in the thick of superheroing.

  • I like the movie trailers. But one of the theaters i used to go to started showing 5 minutes of ads, like the premovie soda and popcorn, cars, etc. I dont go to that one anymore.

  • If Dems are trying to act progressive, it's only in relation to Republicans.

I think most Dems try to appeal to actual conservative values. It's non-intrusive, light on protections, nothing that might make the average voter uncomfortable (no reparations, no medicaid for all, no major police reform etc). They're pretty vocal about it. It's just that their opposition is fucking terrorists that hate most of their own country.

  • Boomers and Gen X suffer permanent brain damage due to lead poisoning that directly correlates to their radicalized views.

  • Ending slavery should be one of the more important ones. It's one of the biggest milestones in our nation.

  • Fuckem.

But also I would've rather had Harris than Trump.

  • If more people had, we'd be in a better place right now.

Also, what does that have to do with this? This is blue vs blue. This is when "vote blue no matter who" doesn’t apply.

  • Sorry for the misunderstanding. I'm agreeing with OP.

The Republicans are painting Jews as warmongers. What the Republicans are doing is antisemitic.

  • [E: Republicans] portraying Jews collectively, universally as perpetrators of genocide seems antisemitic and hurts Jews.

  • I find it anti-Semitic to equate pro-genocide with Judaism.

  • Jaws on the NES. I absolutely loved that game, but I found out many years later that it was hated.

  • I loved FO3. And coming from Bethesda, I was expecting a sandbox.

Actually, do people hate FO3? I thought it was well liked, even amongst New Vegas fanatics.

  • XII remake is my third favorite after X and VIII.

  • I liked a lot about the original. I thought the real-time, turn-based fighting system was going to take over as the new fighting system going forward to replace the ATB as the go-to, and I was happy about it (XIII and XV would have been better for it).

The remaster raised the game to its full potential imo. Having jobs is so much better than free-for-all. And getting rid of the Zodiac Spear disqualification treasure chests is just good on my psyche.

  • Watching them as they came out, hearing the incel complaints, and watching the next episode that addressed all of the complaints was some glorious real time shit. It may not have stuck the landing perfectly at the end, but I loved the journey and I'm glad it was in there.

I really loved that show. It's just a shame it cost so much to produce.

  • Mixing church and state makes both worse. It's not surprising to me that they would want their school to be free from politics with an agenda.
