  • That’s pretty awesome! That had some options like that for sale.

This specific listing says that this is at no additional cost to the buyer. They give you 250 miles or 2 days to rethink the deal that was made and it extends to everyone. Not as good as yours but still good since the law doesn’t require it here.

  • Surprised to see there were some archived versions from a few months ago for this but the site seemed to have been broken by archiving though I was able to copy and paste it out and see more but still nothing.

    Thanks for the suggestion!

  • Exactly what I’m thinking.

I don’t know how this works, but my idea is: create a new Windows install in a VM, download this software and then use a burner email if it requires an email account.

I’m not really sure how they could lock something like that down except the fact this is too much for some people or the fact that it’s something they need to think up.

  • The Batman. Robert Pattinson is not that great of an actor and I still can’t unsee him as that stupid vampire. I know he doesn’t care of the role either, but it really ruins the flow trying to imagine him as Bruce Wayne but all I can see is that cringey vampire. And then it’s just another fucking Batman movie as if we haven’t already had 10 other ones played by 12 different actors already, not including the TV show adaptations and cartoons too. DC needs to seriously stick with one adaptation and go with that or make some about some of the lesser known comic characters.

I know it’s the one that is more closely aligned to the comics and he is actually being a detective. But it was so boring and uninteresting.

I remember sitting in the theater and I kept checking my watch for when it would be over. I was with other people and also was curious how it would end. But it kept dragging on much longer than it should have.

I’ve tried rewatching it since but I still can’t get into it.

  • Some asshole did this to us when I was a teen and went through everything in our home. He stole my BB gun, one of my dad’s knives, and a case of root beer. I think he also got my collection of collectible quarters too as I can’t find them anymore despite knowing exactly where I kept them. He left everything opened and it felt really creepy to sleep in my room for months and I instead slept on the couch. He had even removed our bed and left the mattress undone. He burst through the door going into the garage to get access into our home.

It feels unnerving even though we weren’t there when he did it.

  • Before the internet, this was more common. I’m not sure why this doesn’t seem that plausible to happen unless if you didn’t experience the world pre-internet/smartphone.

My friend exclusively finds “lady friends” when he is out and about in public and never uses the internet to meet women he is interested in. Usually from a glance and approaching her to say something flirty and get her number to go from there.

Granted, my friend isn’t looking for “love” in the way you’re describing lol. But he still establishes a romantic connection when out and about in public and I wouldn’t put it past these women to assume they have found love when they share their number with him.

  • There’s a good one for Amazon called Keepa that shows you the price history of the item. Helps a ton keeping prices in check during sales like Prime Day to see how much you are actually saving, if anything.

Also nice to see how much you could potentially save if you just wait for the next sale or if there was already a price decrease. Often times it looks like I’m good buying without waiting for any sale as the sales only knocked off a few dollars, at most.

  • It’s stupidly easy to make up stuff on AITA and get upvotes/comments. I made up one just for fun and was surprised at how popular it got. Well, now not so much, but back when I did.

If you know the audience and what gets them upset, you’ve got easy karma farming.
