  • I remember seeing dragonforce in this small venue quite some time ago, we didn't really get bands like that where I lived. It was pretty cool as we had a smoke with the drummer during the intermission out front. I only really knew one of their songs as I was a massive guitar hero fan but it was totally worth it just for that.

  • On my feed I don't see much that could be crossposted to reddit. Lemmy has it's own culture which probably clashes somewhat with reddit. The best thing imo is creating content within lemmy's quieter communities. I do now and then but I'm not a massive poster or commentor.

  • I sin and still use reddit. Lately I've seen an increase of users there suggesting them to come here when unpopular changes are happening to reddit. Those comments are normally quite high up with a lot of discussion surrounding it so I assume it is attracting some of them to come here. When this place has enough content for my feed I'll eventually ditch reddit but in the meantime I'll still use both.

  • Oh shit I must have missed there's mods on console now. Are there any that significantly change the game? I might jump back in if it feels different to play cos I pretty much did everything I could and even beat it on the hardest difficulty, although that took 2 playthroughs since I died on the last boss the first time round.

  • Wow thank you for this. I started using duolingo about a month ago and already see some improvement and was eventually going to start watching things like kids programs in spanish when I felt more comfortable with the basics. But now you’ve commented this I feel I can use dreaming spanish alongside duolingo to really help me, as after briefly watching one of the clips it really emphasis things which will help immensely.

  • It's funny you mention your first skills (basic skills) are just filler because this season some of the meta builds use basic skills as the main damage dealer so you don't need to even think about resource regen as they don't use it. Rogue and Sorcerer both have their best builds use the basic skills and work around them. There's still a lot to be desired with balancing and endgame but I feel they are turning things around gradually.

  • That's how it works with the pain. There's no nerves inside the spine and when it slips it pushes on the nerves outside of it.

Think of a donut, if you push on one side of it the jam will spill out of the other side. Your discs between your vertabrea are similar so force on one side eventually will push the middle of the disc out the opposite side onto the nerves. This happens over time with bad forms with anything like lifting, with no warning until it happens.

It can heal as the "jam" can go back into the middle but the path it took doesn't heal so it's easy to do it again. If it's really bad and doesn't heal you might need surgery to fuse your vertabrea together, maybe the one above and below. That's why it's important to lift properly and try not to twist your body with weight, move your feet in line with you or in the direction your going.

  • I'm gutted this is PC only as I only own a xbox series. I wonder, since Bethesda is now owned by Microsoft, if they're gonna surprise us with being able to use mods that were previously limited to pc due to the script extender, with the new next gen upgrade thats planned for Fallout 4. I'll probably be disappointed but I can hope a little.

  • I'm not a massive fan of the original but still somewhat enjoyed what I saw. I think I got a few seasons in before my interest faded.

I just watched the first episode of the live action and initially it felt very weird and wasn't really a big fan. I stuck to it and honestly it really grew on me and like how they handled it. Definitely gonna watch the rest when I get the chance.

  • If I've got it right it's anything that can directly or indirectly identify you. I would've thought most things here wouldn't fall under gdpr except maybe email addresses or if they've specifically mentioned something identifiable in comments or posts. One other thing I think that might be a problem is the data on pictures from a phones camera might indicate where and when it was taken which could narrow down that users location. I know some hosting sites strip this data but some might keep it.
