you just input a community URL like communityname@host.tld, which is pretty much how you reach any sorts if community.

There was already a property for Mastodon instance links and addresses, but there was not one for Lemmy communities, but with that new property, you can create a statement with a Lemmy community ID for a certain item.

It wasn't even launched in the entirety of EU and the Republic of Ireland at all, because of GDPR concerns, but then, the Digital Markets Act also chimed in.

I'm not saying it shouldn't, but that IMO, nothing of value was lost.
