Yeah, I think I read that it was due to the fiber, and something to do with breaking it down. Though the fiber in Rice dosent cause it - which is a relief because that's our staple diet lol.
I used to love eating oats in the morning - just with hot water. So simple and easy. However I figured it was making me quite gassy, and so I've stayed away from it for the most part (which is a shame, because I have like 3 unopened bags in the pantry lol).
These days I'll usually have a couple of pieces of toast, or whatever bread the partners made the day before.
Yeah, I've always been meaning to get that process tightened down Abit to minimize the number of iterations required. Though I haven't figured out what that would entail lol.
I've always told people that I don't think I'm a good cook (e.g., I don't yet quite understand how different ingredients work together to enhance certain things etc,) but I can usually follow instructions. The more detail the better haha.
I've always been meaning to try the photo thing - I've always just reverted to making some sketches on an ipad/paper, and taking as many measurements as I can, and then printing some test fits.
After looking at them for a while, and waiting to see if they'd have some sales during Black Friday, went and pulled the trigger on a Weber Q.
Tried it for the first time yesterday, making some slow cooked lamb shanks. Never cooked lamb before, and tbh only have ever had lamb a handful of times. Came out better than expected!
Yeah I guess so haha. The only reason it's extra annoying at the moment, is that she'll sit right in the middle of the corridor, where it meets the stairs. Trying to go past is like a game of will you get swatted/bit roulette
We're currently looking after a friends cat at our place, and was wondering if anyone had some tips to get them "acclimated"?
It's been a couple of days, and she's pretty shy, and even while purring etc, will suddenly start hissing and swatting at you. Though eating and drinking well, and going to the bathroom often which is good to see.
We've started ignoring her until she comes to us for attention, which seems to be making things a little bit better.
Yeah I've seen a lot of posts online talking about that. Though I usually have a list of things I've been looking at for a while, so I know their 'regular' prices, and can always compare to that.
I've heard of GrapheneOS, and have always been meaning to do some more reading into it - and I've always wanted a pixel phone, but they make it such a hassle to get one in NZ.
I've been wanting to do something like this for a while, but was always worried about the water. I was thinking of getting some epoxy resin and coating it.
Maybe it's just one of those things where it "feels" like it, more so than it actually "is"?
