Buy a damn bus ticket
In reality i dont need my phone to be smart. But society wants me to
But i do everything i can to avoid getting apps from various companies. Membership bonuses etc.
I hate it so much.
I do enjoy my smartphone in the car though, for google maps, music and taking a call. But.. i would much rather, if that was just built into the cars infotainmentsystem.
better battery. the old was too poor to last more than half a day.
the apps are the same, and honestly apart from the ultrawide camera, the pictures look so identical i cant really tell them apart.
i did notice a slight improvement in loading times of a game, but.. its 2 second difference. nothing major. and also the new screen is a bit brighter, but the resolution is lower.
i miss my S9+. it was great.
My S21 is 2 years old now, and still holding strong. It'll probably be replaced in 2025 or something. It'll all depend on the battery. but i live in EU, so i may be holding on till we see the EU law with replacable batteries come into effect. then i can use the same phone for even longer. spend my money on more interesting things, like graphics cards and mechanical keyboards.
yeah but... apple dont make the best cameras, according to MKBHD's "blind camera test" voted by thousands of random regular people
Anyways. yes. i have heard a few people in my class scoff among each other talking about how they hate it when they see "green texts" in their phone, and such.
meanwhile i love the freedom from my android phone, with ad-free spotify and youtube. and i couldn't care less about the color of a text bubble.
it sounds like they might be producing them for cars to be out in 2027
but... they're also working on making the manufactoring "simplified" and cheaper than lithium-ion batteries
i dont assume that'll be done by '27
so i expect... costs to be high for the first year or two, and possibly only available in a few (low volume) car models
but we'll see.
i hope they do surprise us greatly. but i have been sceptical of toyota regarding electric... which is weird coz they were among the first to make hybrids
and it's often so terribly written, like its written BY and TO someone who already knows everything about it, so its super vague and so basically useless.
a good example on documentation, IMO, is mozillas javascript documentation. that's great.
i really dont like microsofts C# documentation though. and there's probably worse ones out there.
(I will add, english isn't my primary language and the documentation is almost exclusively available in english)
That also typically includes murder, abduction, rape and general violence..
