  • Well there’s lot of shovelware girly games out there. Your best bet would be cozy games https://cozygamereviews.com/cozy-games-on-steam/ maybe try a dating sim or two? The KFC Dating sim https://store.steampowered.com/app/1121910/I_Love_You_Colonel_Sanders_A_Finger_Lickin_Good_Dating_Simulator/ is free and one my absolute favorites. Granted, it’s stupid, it’s cheesy, it’s anime, it’s taking itself a little bit too serious, but I like it. One of my friends recently loved house flipper 2 https://store.steampowered.com/app/1190970/House_Flipper_2/ a game where you clean houses, sell them, later even get to design your own houses. Also one of my new favorite cozy feel good games is little kitty big city https://store.steampowered.com/app/1177980/Little_Kitty_Big_City/ I just love the writing and the atmosphere of this game! Oh, and the Style-Boutique game series on the Nintendo 3 DS! If you know a tech savvy person who can Mod a 2DS or 3DS you can get the console for cheap and put the game on there from the internet. My wife and one of my coworkers loved these games!

[I totally want to start a thread about how Red Dead Redemption (GTA but it’s the wild wild west-era with cowboys) has the best horse riding experience in any game until now and how a horse riding game with the mechanics would be amazing, but I’ll just plant this seed here and hope for some game-dev to see it.]

  • A lot more people will be unable to acquire a lot of things. There will be a lot more crime.

The higher tariffs are paid by the importers, who make the customer pay for that. And considering that the minimum wage is now below the poverty line, a lot of electronics, even necessities like washing machines and fridges, will be unaffordable by some people.

And what is the result when a lot of people can’t afford basic necessities? Crime.

    Give it a year.

  • Reminds me of a story I once read about a couple being on holiday in Italy. They went in a local pizzeria and were the only ones in there, they got pretty shady looks from everyone, but still ordered a pizza. It was the best pizza they ever had. Also, for the whole time they were there, no customer came there and it was silent.

  • Back in the days, everyone on the internet was a man. Men were men, women were men, boys were men, little girls were FBI-agents, and I was 18 as soon as I got internet access, despite turning 18 years later.

  • Too many companies tried, but the niche usage prevents that.

I used the Samsung phone desktop environment a lot back in the days, mainly for retro gaming on TV.

My MacBook is basically bound to the dock, except when I need it as a laptop specifically, which is what I bought it to be in the first place.

  • It had a dead transmission when I bought it, poor thing did not get a wash after winter.

My Audi that I’ve been driving for 8 years gets her belly washed every month. No rust in sight so far.

  • Not a Canadian, but: get something that’s common. The more people that have had the car, the more reliable it usually is and the cheaper are parts and repairs.

My first car was a Hyundai Getz which was about 10 years old when I got it, and she died of rust 4 years later. But it was cheap, reliable and had AC.
