Idk reddit has always been pretty liberal for the most part. Of course there are right wing subs but overall the site is pretty left leaning.

Sync has had over 10 years to refine the user experience.

They were trying to stop the certification of the votes. Even if they had stopped it, it's just a ceremonial thing iirc.

I haven't had any issues with it. Have you tried with an account on another instance?

What exactly are save categories? Are they tags to categorize saved posts or am I completely misunderstanding lol? The more quality of life features the better, though haha

They want to optimize engagement so they give some users certain content and other users other content to see what works. Not sure what is that mindblowing about it. It's how basically every website tests new features.

Not sure what you think is manipulated here. It's pretty logical that algorithmically curated feeds are going to lead to higher engagement.

Idk, that's one pretty minor inconvenience imo. I wouldn't be surprised if the links can be corrected by the app anyways since there are some browser extensions/scripts that can do it on desktop. It's not an unsolvable problem.

Ok. So that's one thing sync can't do. Are you dismissing it based on one feature?

Plenty of small quality of life features that sync for reddit had which jerboa doesn't. Posting from alt accounts from the comment window, extensive customization options, material design UI, different themes and settings for different accounts, and plenty of others that I don't remember off the top of my head.

Jerboa is by no means bad but as a long time sync user, I'm really excited to have the familiarity of sync back.

It's the same UI experience as the reddit version so I don't see any reason to not be excited about it.

I remember the dev of connect was in this community praising sync a little while back so I'm not surprised.

I tried jeroba and connect but ended up sticking with jeroba. It's not too bad and I didn't want to spend a lot of time trying different apps only to inevitably switch to sync lmao.

Sync for Reddit was insanely customizable. Give it a shot and spend some time poking around the settings.

It's funny because the original trans sports bans were justified by saying that they would have an unfair advantage. This beauty pageant ban is just transphobes saying that trans women are unfairly attractive lmfao.

Ad companies figured out that sales are much better with whatever publicity they can get, even bad publicity. It doesn't work with some people, like you, but they haven statistically proven that just getting their name out in any capacity will increase sales.
