  • Is this not perjury?

    I was \ then.
    No you weren't.
    No I wasn't.

Are you allowed to blatantly lie and just walk it back when called out?

  • Israel the nation, government and military is an apartheid state currently committing genocide. This statement passes no judgement on the vast majority of the Israeli people and especially no judgement on Judaism and Jewish people as a whole.

Anyone trying to conflate the two are just trying to apologize for genocide.

  • Agree with the thoughts on Republican party in generally. But let's be sure that it's morally wrong to out people, even if they have betrayed the social contract on tolerance.

we're intolerant to intolerance in this household

That means you don't tolerate people's intolerance. It doesn't mean you go scorched earth and use their own hateful tactics against them.

In this case, it was his own party and/or "side" that outed him. But it was still wrong regardless of who did it and no one should encourage that.

  • Is it racist? Or is it mocking someone among others and delighting in the known fact that it makes a deplorable person upset? Same thing with mocking Trump for small hands.

Also, it doesn't seem like it originates from racism: https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/xi-jinping-winnie-the-pooh-comparisons

I don't hang around in racist circles, but I've never seen it used in what others have said below. Have you seen it used that way commonly?

  • Maybe. But we already do this for a lot of things. Drugs is the most well-known. If we know what the production cost is (and the government can just request that info), we can set the price ceiling to ensure the profit floor still exists. This is pretty common in government contracts: % profit.

  • It isn't. It's not saying Chinese people look like Winnie the Pooh. Or even than he looks like Winnie because he's Chinese or asian. It's just a coincidental resemblance. And people wouldn't use it as a pseudo-insult if it didn't upset him so much. Which is kind of baffling why anyone would be upset at that comparison; it makes you seem lovable.

  • Just keep reporting this one. They keep spamming every news post with pro-Isreal and anti-Palestinian diatribes.

  • Their feedback loop will turn into copying a copy real quick. And the moment AI puts any hurt on any industry their lobbyists will get copyright updated and fuck AI sideways.

This is all assuming a single AI produced thing isn't a horror show top to bottom which is a tall order.

  • The ceiling would have to still be profitable. And if this is a thing people need but can't afford while profitable, the government should provide it.

People need to learn from history and realize corporations exist to serve the people and at the people's pleasure. You have to apply for a corporation and a we've seen with Trump, can be dissolved. Which should really happen a lot more often.

  • It's D&D night. Time to cash in the head of the pirate who marooned us for 6 large.

  • Hello, I would like to use notepad.

Ok, I can open notepad. But have you considered notepad enhanced with AI? It predicts what you want to type for $49.99 a year!

  • We should apply it the other way: Tax Surplus. There's a lot of valuation in companies in billionaires that could be taxed better.

  • There's a solution: legally mandating price ceilings. Good luck getting through Congress but the solution to market coordination can't be market forces.

  • ITT: so many pedophiles

  • 1048 got out again, I see.

  • We had this in my town growing up. This is about right.

  • Like a day or two in advance.

  • Don't get why they'd want to be known as Max. Max is far, far inferior to HBO in content.
