By hard work, you mean buying yourself exclusive education which gets you contacts to add to your families. Not to mention ready access to startup capital and the graces of people willing to give you more.

An apology doesn't make people less mad, usually. It signals you are aware what you did is wrong or at least made people upset. People get less mad when you act differently in the future. Bioware can keep apologizing but if they keep screwing up no one's going to care.

The same way you make anything safe: design and testing. If you're asking for the actual mechanisms to prevent accidental human interactions, you can look into all the tech that powers automatic doors, elevator doors, and some of the "driverless" car tech now. But in essence: a lot of IR and pressure sensors with pattern matching required for using motion above a certain power/resistance. Essentially when a machine hasn't determined it's "on the job" by a very narrow programming and testing margin, it should be able to be stopped from a very small amount of force or sensory input.

This whole little diatribe is full of inaccuracies, huge ass-pulls and insinuations that are so wild as to be ridiculous. And as soon as you actually get a little specific, you throw your entire argument away.

I didn't see mot of those episodes, but from perusing Memory Alpha, I didn't see anything about White besides it was used to keep the Jem-Hadar soldiers working. Did it have a drug-like effect in non-Jem-Hadar? Or has White just ascended into pure meme status?

Any legal team that doesn't demand advance payments at this point is just doing pro-bono work.
