Having another shot at democracy. What are you going to do if you don't get your way, exactly? Curl up and die?

A First Past The Post voting system in a country designed for a Two Party System. It sucks and we should definitely change it. But you have to work within the constraints of what we've got unil then.

The people who don't understand the general isn't a time for your principles and a protest vote are worse than Republicans in my book. At least the fascists have the honesty to know what they're doing. Ignorance and cowardice are the lot of those pretending throwing away their vote is anything but a vote for Trump.

Then welcome round 2 of Trump and the final round of democracy. When the blame game happens, people like you and the above spammer will be held to account for your refusal to compromise. You're no better than Republicans. In fact, you are all worse. Because at least Republicans know what they're about. Pathetic.

Don't write every part of your adventure in advance. Unless you and your players are OK with some strong railroad tracks or agree to follow plot hooks, it's a recipe for wasted content.

That doesn't mean write an adventure or campaign, it means write an outline and the next session or three of content and then see where the party starts to go. A good thing to get in the habit of is ending a session right after a major decision has been made, especially if it pertains to traveling. Try to align the end of a session with the party's decision on what cave, cellar or town to travel to next. Then you can prep it as needed.

Yeah. I'm running into that problem with higher level players now. They are being held to account for burglary, kidnapping and property damage they did 8 levels ago before they were nobles with land from another king.

You can't really imprison or execute people this powerful. The amount of force you'd need to bring to bear isn't worth the collateral damage. You just fine them and force a public apology if they want to do business in the capital ever again. Their wealth and social standing is more important.

Not everyone. Most souls go to outer planes and just sit there. Lower planes have a special property of wiping memories through the river Styx and converting them into fiends. Which then either slowly evolve into useful fiends or much more likely are destroyed in the Blood War or eaten by night hags or higher level fiends.

It's a two party system. Not voting for one of the two is as good as voting for the one for like least. You're depriving the one who's less bad of a vote. That's how the party system works. You need to put down your principles once we're at the final stage and make the choice that is least worst for you.

To put it in perspective: if it was Biden vs literally dying, would you still not vote for Biden? We're not quite there, but it's close: potential end of democracy.

OK, that's an opinion. But Trump and the Republican party is literally trying to take over the government and replace most executive positions. There's no evidence Biden is trying to do that or anything as immediate or exteme.

In that position and in your point of view, they are both fascists. But Trump is a fascist that is trying to commit a coup NOW and Biden isn't.

I am 100% for trying to primary Biden. If there's enough support Biden doesn't win the nomination that'd be great! But abdication or forcing him out just because old is a good way to lose faith in the electorate. A better plan would be to have a VP that is a good presidential candidate in case he has to resign due to age.

That would nearly guarantee a win for Trump. Incumbency advantage is strong as is name recognition. I don't like Biden either but he's better than a literal fascist. If Trump wins in 2024 there will not be an election in 2028.
