  • Physically, mentally, and emotionally abused his biological son and me, threatened my mother with a firearm, tried to have his debts pushed onto my mother(including his companies bankruptcy). Blamed a lot of it on his pain medication after he hurt his back(even the shit that happened years before then). He is what led to a large part of my family finally breaking.

Last I saw of him, we was sitting alone in a shitty hotel bar with no one to talk to, unemployed, and living in his late mother's rotting home. He deserved worse. If there was a hell, it would be a paradise against what he deserves in my eyes.

  • Being smart about communication. One of the biggest failings I have had with so many managers is the lack of communication. Assistants saying one thing, main manager says another, turns out the two barely spoke about the thing. Changes to the standard not being communicated properly, mistakes getting by until it's a major issue.

  • If you told me this was just how they dressed on the daily, I'd believe you.

I totally assume those children appear so calm because this is a daily thing, and after all this is done, they'll waddle off to the "pool room", a giant empty room where they, and the servants, are expected to be living pool balls.

  • The upper head looks so done with this shit. That was not a naturally born centaur with a face-ass. That's the horrible result of magic gone wrong.

How long has he been forced to play? How long must this go on? Why did the droopy one have to come to this show? They broke up, it just wasn't working, why does she still show up every time?

  • This is a really interesting question. In my opinion, absolutely yes. It's a piece of someone's hobby, a passion large or small. A time capsule of things that made someone happy.

Beyond that, in cases like the authors friends love of Sea of Thieves, it can show a bit of the community they sought, the people they interacted with. A small tendril of ourselves, reaching out and entwining with others.

And, for those who maybe only knew the person online, never had the chance or want for an in-person meetup, it's a place to mourn. A digital marker of a life once lived, a finished book of memories. The games themselves may come and go, but the traces they left will be there, captured in achievements and screenshots, to be shared as long as a copy exists.

  • Black vultures, for me.

We have some that hunt through the dumpsters at work when deli does toss-out. I felt rather dumb assuming they had a fancier name.

Pretty neat birds to watch, though. I lost some time while they strutted about, pretty much ignoring my existence once I had tossed all our old bread.

  • To anyone curious: It's barely bad enough to even be funny. It's not a great porn flick. Pretty basic Ron Jeremy, piss poor parody that's only really interesting because of Nintendo's actions. There's also a sequel.

There's also a fuckton of porn we'll never see. Supposedly there's stacks of Disney stuff bored animators have drawn, things for Bethesda titles that never left the office... It's wild, when you start running down the rabbit hole.

  • Ya know when someone rounds a corner, they lose traction, run in place for a moment, and then fall?

Yeah. While in a factory. One of the trailers the next section was working on caught fire, so I bolted over there to assist, and no one in my section thought to hit our E-Stop. I bolted around the corner, hit the red button, turned, was booking it back, hit that corner, and was just in place until my ass hit concrete.

After all was said and done, we had a good laugh. Got called out at the next safety meeting for being a bit too enthusiastic on making my way back.
