  • That's pretty sick tbh

  • Do I need to have read the books to understand this? I'm confused

  • Not necessarily how they're viewing it.

Once if was free, now it's $150,000+ with the possibility of that increasing anytime

  • Idk much about this company but I'm assuming $150,000 is nothing to them.

But I suppose it's the precedent this sets, not the fine itself

  • Signal seems like an obvious choice over Telegram if privacy is the exclusive priority.

I do love Telegram tho for the ability to send full-quality photos/videos, log-on with 2+ phones simultaneously, visual customization, etc

  • The Library system is better than the "Like" system on Spotify imo

Also has lossless, the ability to upload your own files to the cloud, and pays artists more per stream

  • Just got an e-scooter so more content about those would be neat

  • I tried Tidal cause I like the idea of paying artists more per stream. However I simply didn't like the UI (especially the lack of album covers visible when list-viewing playlists) and recommendations.

Ended up switching to Apple Music which, even on Android, I prefer.

Has lossless, supports uploading your own files to the cloud, my fav Library system, and pays artists more per stream than Spotify. No podcasts too 👍 Windows app is also getting pretty good (still behind Spot tho)

  • Lightning was the biggest reason I switched to maining an Android, altho I'm v happy now that I've switched

  • Id like more funding for infrastructure for Ebikes/Escooters

  • Would still be bad lol

  • Voyager, I like that I can have an app to browse Lemmy that’s the same on Android & iOS

  • I'm not saying they should be, I'm saying it's easily avoidable

  • Yep cause my comment was "windows is perfect"

Didn't take me much effort to reach a near ad-free experience within the OS anyway

  • Yea I do get a little tired of all the Windows-hate haha

  • I'm 100% down for normalizing 'it'

  • I like this addition to Android a lot, Fit felt like an insufficient replacement for Apple's Health app when I switched to Android
