  • That's a tough one! I'm gonna say... mimolette. I mighta said manchego but only if I can have membrillo with it.

  • I definitely prefer 2 or 3. Especially 2, but whichever is easier for the poster is fine.

  • This is one of my favorite features to introduce to people, definitely a game changer. The only thing is, when working with other people's models, I usually don't know if they've already included any additional tolerance or how much.

  • I work in a library, and I'm sad to say this sort of thing has been going around for a while... Our board (a bunch of ghoulish rich retired business men) wants us to call people "customers" instead of "patrons", and is looking for ways to charge them money.

  • Oof, sorry to hear that! 😭

  • Check your local library to see if they have a large format photo printer, it's often cheaper than you'd pay elsewhere. Then, print a poster sized portrait of Alfonso Ribeiro to hang up.

  • It reminds me a bit of comic sans, and comic sans is easier to read for dyslexic people, so maybe this is a good feature to have

  • Omg yessss, this would be amazing to bring back!

  • Despite the many, many problems with the show, I'd say The Lexx.

  • Our defuault PLA at work is all recycled stuff from Reflow, especially the candy collection.

  • really? that's where i mostly use it, and to me it seems to work great! but on the other hand, i haven't really experienced it anywhere else

  • That sounds lovely! I'm not sure how common it is here, since not many people I know in the U.S. have ever had a driving instructor. They exist, but most people I know just learned from family or friends.

I had no idea that what happened to me is so common, that's honestly a bit of a relief.

  • Actually I totally did! The terrible wreck happened on the way home. Real rollercoaster of emotions, that day was

  • Where I live, back when I got my driver's license, there was always a several months long queue to take the driving test. When my turn came, there was a terrible blizzard. I knew I should just cancel it and wait several more months, but I didn't do that. It ended in several injuries and a totalled car.

  • I like getting "worked on", I guess you could say? Like... I like going to the dentist, for example. Anything that kinda hurts but is for my own good, and involves just staying still on a chair/table while somebody else takes care of it.

  • I went with spectra.video, but my subscriptions are allllll over the place. I have roughly the same approach to choosing an instance on every platform:

    • Not the flagship instance or one that's similarly huge.
    • Not one that's miniscule either.
    • Running as close to the latest version of the software as possible.
    • Then and only then do I start comparing rules, cool content, etc.
  • Thanks, this was really informative! I've only been on the viewer side of Peertube, but I'm a fan for sure. From that perspective, another thing is that I really wish there was a better app for it. Thorium hasn't been updated in ages, and it's super glitchy.
