Fun fact, Kbin is actually where all the big Ks from all the signs went when all the Kmarts shut down. Only, it turns out they were made of meat all along, so the refrigeration costs have been pretty significant... Kbin only runs the social media platform to earn enough money to pay for it all.
A lot of wasps are totally harmless to humans! we have this really cute red stripey kind that constantly flies in figure eights over the ground, trying to detect Japanese Beetle larva to eat, for which I am grateful. I like wasps in general.
well, since taste is subjective and you're looking for an objective measure, I'm just going to judge on other grounds! I suspect that the vanilla industry is less bad for the environment and has a better track record with labor violations, so vanilla is better.
Now, I didn't research that first, and I could definitely be wrong... but at least it's something one can actually be wrong about.
I have zero training in that stuff, but I'm occasionally called upon to do it for my library's digitization service. It's kinda fun! Anyway, if you DO have some kinda certification in that, your local public library needs you.
Check with your local libraries! I work in a public library makerspace, we do this kind of stuff all the time. Most libraries do it either completely free or for the price of materials
I haven't done a lot with it myself yet, but I have noticed that a solid half of the people who interact with my Pixelfed posts are coming from Mastodon. Probably because the hashtags work across the two? I guess?
I dunno what the research says on this, but I bet everyone being like 20% plastic by weight from all the microplastics in the environment hasn't helped ๐
