  • Your old classmates who flunked during the last two years probably didn't post about it on social media. It's not reflective of reality, just all curation.

    Trust me, you're doing fine. My bachelor took five years to finish, and plenty of people I've talked to have had similar situations.

  • As a normie (at least in these circles), I think I agree with your last point. Windows being heavily restricted in its customizability is a feature. A bad feature, but a feature nonetheless.

  • I was on Sync for Reddit before going here, and checked out Lemmy as the devs switched platform. So the joke's on them, my UX is basically identical.

    That said, sucks that people shy away because of complexity.

  • Big same. I really like Firefox on mobile for the addons (mostly Consent-o-matic, hate cookie popups), but I still mostly use Adblock Browser because of the tab groups. The convenience really wins me over, sadly.
