I was able to sign in through the sync app on Android. It loaded up pretty well and I placed some stuff last night. Never had to download an app. What are you using that made you need another one?

I really do wish RIF dev would make a lemmy app version. I absolutely loved that app for over a decade.

Yeah lol. All the spam I've seen comes from the meme communities that had multiple posts complaining about Sync. Like I've seen more people complain it isn't FOSS than anything else so far.

Only other major times I've seen it across lemmy was when it was up for pre-registration and when it came out. The former seemed to be spammed a ton because people thought it had actually came out and tried to spread the word & the former was just people posting when it actually came out.

The complaining feels the same as when reddit mobile users kept laughing about 3rd party apps to feel superior in some way. I saw some actually comment how stupid some 3rd party app users were for paying for a paid app or subscription to view reddit when the official app was free.

I'm just going to ignore the rest of these posts after this and hide them. It all just makes them look obnoxious and full of themselves. Basically the type of shit that made me happy to leave Reddit.

Had a similar thing happen to me and my family on a United flight two years ago.

First after closing procedure were being done, the workers at the gate let a person through and they opened the plane door for them. The flight attendant was so pissed as now they had to redo every step from the beginning.

THEN we got told there was a broken part of the plane and we had to wait to see if they could get it fixed. After an hour waiting we got told we could go back to the airport to buy stuff or go to the bathroom.

When everyone got back, they started the pre-flight stuff again until a person walked up and said they walked onto the wrong plane. My flight attended just looked in shock and let them leave. Then tried to hid his frustration when announcing that anyone else who thinks they are in the wrong plane should speak now.

Another hour and then we got told it got fixed. The flight then began 4 hours late on a trip that was originally only going to be 4 hours.

For me, safety razors are the only type that don't cause me issues after shaving. I always used to get rashes or irritated skin whenever I shaved until this razor.

Not surprised.

I've had to help more than three relatives over the phone try to fix issues because of this.

A few were arguing with me that they already had the "Max" app installed and didn't understand that the HBO MAX app isn't the MAX app.

This was the stupidest fucking renaming ever since that Netflix one a decade ago.

If the RIF app comes to Lemmy I will die happy.

Weird that it changed the name for me and I never reinstalled it. One day it was WefWef and the next it went to Voyager.

I gotta say again I love the public mod logs. I feel so much catharsis from this after once being a target of /r/watchRedditDie. A user lied and said I banned him for posting a picture of Snoo pissing on the flag. I had actually banned him for posting a picture of hornets coming out of a penis.

You see that OP had started the whole argument too? They brought up Discovery in a Strange New worlds episode discussion. Said the episode was the anti of what the discovery creator wanted and then stated all the bigotry shit when asked to explain.

OP getting banned seems sorta justified if that log is what caused it. Stating that the show(ST Discovery) they have issues with was progressive and then commenting how it made every non-gay white character evil or negative is really just the type of shit I used to see on Twitter when the show was first coming out.

That's not even mentioning that the whole reason the comment chain started was because OP brought up his hate for the creator of Discovery in a discussion for a Strange New World episode. There was no need for the whole conversation to begin besides OP wanting to cause an argument. Mods didn't want to deal with that shit.

The one I kept hearing during HS was the serial masturbator who looked like Harry Potter.

Basically there was one kid who would constantly start jacking off during classes. Wouldn't stop when told to stop.

Was three grades below me so I was luckily never in the classes where it happened. So many people I know weren't as lucky and saw it.

I got no idea why the school allowed the kid to still be on the campus.

School turned into an early college one after I started, so those kids were dealing with enough already to then deal with constantly seeing a kid jackoff in college level classes.

I think some apps let you block them from showing up. Connect I think?

I use Voyager(WefWef) and it doesn't have that yet.

It's not just porn that uses the NSFW flair. I really wished Lemmy would have adapted a new flair since reddit had this exact same issue.
