  • What I think may be exploding head experiences are like this: It always happens towards the end of a daytime nap or after most of my nights sleep. There are very bright white light(s) and then a very loud crashing sound. The sound could be described as either an explosion or something big and heavy falling onto a concrete floor. Its deep and there are no high pitch notes to it. The first time it happened, I dreamed that there was a very big explosion like a nuclear bomb that went off over the sea (I lived on the coast at the time) and I thought it was real. I woke up and ran to the window to check, but there was nothing. Since then I've had it a handful of times and it usually wakes me up. My hearing feels a bit impaired afterwards, like I have heard an actual loud noise.

  • Hey guys, unfortunately advertising is not allowed here. It's to protect our members from being exploited. I know that there can be legitimate good reasons to allow it, but I think starting a community called ADHD_resources would be a better way of going about it. And if its modded properly I will allow links to those posts as an exception.

  • That's a great gif!

  • It's one of the most ethically questionable episodes in Trek. It reminds me of the test that they give replicants in the original Blade Runner. If you see a tortoise upside down in the desert, what do you do?

If you leave it, it will die. But it will become food for other animals and nature will take It's course. If you intervene and flip it back over right side up, you are likely saving it.

  • The medium for the electromagnetic field is space time

  • Dark energy is not galaxies moving away from each other but instead its new space being created in between which makes it appear like they are moving away from each other. That's why distant redshifts can exceed the speed of light, because they are not really moving, so the speed of light law is not broken.

  • Oh my god! Please violate my rights by not showing me ads! What a boring dystopia...

  • .catch(error) { }

  • Wrong, his sexual identity is: Simple tailor. Lmao just kidding, I agree with you.

  • There are legal solutions to that problem in other countries, just not in America. There is a beer brewing company in the USA that sells a do it yourself kit that's supposed to be pretty foolproof. They sell the kit legally with the pretense that it will be used for beer brewing.

Disclaimer: I am not advocating that anyone takes their own life, although I do view that decision as each person's own business as long as they are sane, have good reasons for it, and are not making an impulsive decision.

  • I didn't even get to Act 2 in BG3 lmao!

Right now I'm trying very hard to complete an app that I've already spent a few weeks on and I'm not even half way with. My mind is looking for anything to distract me.

  • Hello sane friend! You used your joke to great effect!

Did you like my useEffect joke haha

  • Holy shit. I just had this feeling early on to skip the early access. Seems like I made a good choice.

  • That's impressive. Of all my gigabyte mobo builds the board was the first thing to fail every time.

  • My 4060 plays everything and comes with better tech than red team. I have gone through about 7 Gigabyte mobos and they suck. I would advise a different brand. If you don't have NVMe storage, its a must! Use your traditional SSD has backup storage.

  • I'm good with my Vue, thanks. I hate React though. I can see htmx simplifying some things and being adopted by front-end frameworks. The same way improvements in HTML and CSS have been adopted.

  • The unfortunate cushion of being a rich powerful asshole
