  • Well, I have seen 2 Labradoodles from the same nest. Two familymembers decided to take one.

They both bark at every little fucking sound, no matter what you do, they both have random moments where they could start biting you.

One of them is just straight up agressive if a man makes a sudden move and needs to be locked up if I come to do a small job in the house.

They definitely need to be trimmed and their behavior issues are very annoying. So if this guy regrets making Labradoodles? Me too, buddy, I regret you actions too.

  • If it would not affect the life of so many people, I would enjoy seeing the country fall apart. Now I just feel sorry for all the poor bastards that have to live there.

I do suspect immigration won't be an issue in a couple of years, because nobody wants to live there anymore. So that's something to look out for.

  • Just the other day, I read an article about how much cases they are able to solve because of the footage. That is a good thing in my opinion.

The police also will ask for the footage, but you don't have to give it. It's entirely up to you if you want to do so.

Even so, I prefer not to be filmed at random by people's door bells, thank you very much.

  • I'd like to add some strength too. I don't give a shit about the latest AI fuzzy on any phone, but if it would please last at least a year without cracking the screen or the back that would be amazing. And a record for me. Doesn't have to be razor thin either. Just make it beefy.

  • Should be, maybe. The reality is that you can spend extra time making the program work, but if it works and you want to spend extra hours on it for whatever reason, it's usually considered a waste of time.

Until they get hacked and it costs incredible amounts of money, that is.

Smart programmers do all the things they need to do before they get everything working. As soon as it works they get pushed to work on something else.

  • Netflix has stopped being a product I am interested in a long time ago.

When they started out, they had a lot of stuff. These days, you'll have to subscribe to 5 or 6 services to watch a lot. And every service makes their own shitty shows to attract more customers. And 99% of them suck, with the occasional succes.

Right now, Netflix is too expensive for what they offer. But clearly they think they can get away with raising proces, so I guess most people think it is worth it or simply don't care.

  • I've once had a user who managed to add a second keyboard layout by accident and switch to it on login. I found out when I reset his password and it still didn't work on the laptop of the users even if I typed it in myself.

  • I was outside on concrete with grass on the side of it and forgot to put the hand brake in. I step off, just to see the truck roll into the grass with the back wheel. Luckily the concrete the truck was on was high enough to stop the truck when one wheel was on the grass.

The truck was stuck now. Driving forward didn't work, pulling did not work. In the end we pushed a piece of pipe under it with hammers on both sides and that was enough to lift the back of the truck high enough that I could drive it forward again.

Still sucked though. I never forgot the hand brake again. Also did not get fired, that is never really an option for employers here.

  • So what you are saying is we have plenty supply of school children and not enough billionaires? Let's see how we can get more billionaires then. Or do you want to reduce the number of school children? Because that is being worked on constantly...America, you have the freedom to get killed by someone with mental issues anytime.

  • Why is everybody so shy about liking Fedora? You don't have to name lesser distro's first to make them feel good, you can just outright say Fedora is the best....

Joking. Whatever floats your boat is fine.

  • If you wear safety shoes, the sole will stop them. I tried, steppend on a nail with all my weight, then wondered why something was stuck on my foot. The nail got stuck, but it did not penetrate.

Normal shoes you're fucked though, they don't stop anything really.

  • My knees. I am past 30, and my knees somehow don't want to bend anymore.

On the other hand the older I get, the smarter I get about life. Do some physical activity on a regular basis, keep some long term goals in mind, don't let your emotional state depend on external factors.

Find balance in your life and know your limits and you will be all right.

  • YouTube is simply squeezing hard now.

They are big enough that 90% of the people who do look at videos do it there. So a video that is posted elsewhere simply does not get the exposure that it does on YouTube.

That gives them a lot of power. And they use it to squeeze as much money as possible from anyone they can. Now, if they would do big squeezes, people would notice and they would at least try to find other sites.

So just like abuse, it's a slow process of tearing little barriers down of what is acceptable, until at some point users one by one start to realize it has all turned to shit.

But that is going to take a lot of time, and until that happens we are just going to see more reports about all the things YouTube does.

We will keep seeing angry nerds upset about it, and they will block ads and work around it. But nothing else will change. And that is such a small part of the userbase of YouTube that they don't even feel it.

So I'm going to block ads, watch what I want to watch as long as the site is usuable without ads, and I will stop using the site when ads can no longer be blocked. YouTube is simply not that important to me.
