Characters needing to talk “privately” when in a location with others. The solution is always to take a few steps in one direction. They’re still clearly within easy hearing range of anyone who isn’t massively hard of hearing. Yet apparently the other characters in the room all just go temporarily deaf.

No real issues so far but it’s annoying that we can no longer quickly swipe between watch faces. I have my main one and then the next one shows my health/activity stats. Used to just flick back and forth when I wanted to check out my steps. Takes longer now. Can’t even add the pedometer app to the widgets so that doesn’t help.

And battery use seems higher considering I just got hit with a 10% warning when it’s usually still around 40% or higher right now.

Not a panic button. As far as I’ve heard it’s just a camera that only has a short recording time. If someone is benign abusive, you press the button to make it start recording. Either the abusive person will back down at the obvious camera recording them, or they’ll get more aggressive, but at least then you’ve got footage of them. The overhead store cameras are really crap quality.

10%??? It’s 5% unless there’s a special bribe going on for us for a few weeks, like around Christmas.

They should do this to replace giving our licence or passport numbers when signing up for things that actually need to verify who we are, like with banks. Would reduce the chance of our data being compromised in a breach.

It should not however be used for anything like social media or porn sites. Random sites do not need to know who we are.

As someone who works in a grocery store, most of the people I see stealing are stealing stuff like makeup or drinks and junk food, not necessities. And our regular thieves spend hundreds on cigarettes a week, while still stealing whatever they want because they know they’ll get away with it.

That’s always annoyed me too. Same with holographic computer screens that allow people on the other side to see what you’re doing. Only way it’d work is if there was a way to limit the view to the person using the device.

And holographic keyboards that appear on an otherwise blank desk. They’d better have really strong tactile feedback or not only would you be poking the hard desk all day, you have to stare at the keyboard the entire time.

I used to foster cats and once had a kitten then got into the washing machine without me realising it. Machine was running for a bit over 5 mins before I realised what had happened. He was ok, just really wet and shaken up, and took ages to calm down. Little idiot still tried to climb in again the week after. But after that, I did kitten counts whenever I did ran a load. As in, filled the machine, closed it , then counted all the kittens. Did this until I stopped fostering. And even with that, I’d have moments of panicking hearing the washing machine and have to go count again. Even had times when the house was cat free that I’d get that feeling.

Thanks, I’ll have a look. I have a Mac but rarely use the photos app on it. Any time I open it I have wait for it to download any new photos so I usually just use the iOS app instead of waiting.

I have enough trouble getting it to let me tag kids or people who aren’t directly face on. Is it too much to ask for a way to manually select an area of the photo and tag it as a person who hasn’t been recognised as a person?

Nope. Re-saved the password, quit the app and came back in. Still seeing nsfw communities. Thanks for the suggestion though. Probably a bug that will get fixed soon.

I’ve got the same issue. I think it was working yesterday because I’ve suddenly got a bunch of nsfw communities showing up in the All feed. Didn’t see any before today.

That setting isn’t working very well on Memmy at the moment. I’ve had it disabled since I got the app and it was working, but suddenly all the nsfw subs are showing up in the feed.
