Don’t trust the mainstream media they say, but these days Facebook, YouTube, instagram, etc have billions of users worldwide. Those are mainstream media.
So in a way they’re right, but they seem to think Facebook and YouTube are some hot new thing and they can be trusted because they’re not part of “the establishment” or whatever. Those of us who were around since the beginning saw the decline from cat-video-sharing-platform to propaganda outlet. Hopefully more people start realizing it.
I posted about Fedecan and the fediverse on Facebook a few weeks ago. Might just be my friend group, but a lot of people seemed interested in ditching Facebook in the wake of all the Trump stuff.
I know it takes time and resources, but I would love to see you hosting an instance for each alternative to the major platforms.

Agreed. The shooter was smart enough to ditch the backpack. Why wouldn’t the gun be in it?
Wait a minute… if it was, then the cops would have it, but if they told everyone it was in the backpack they wouldn’t have it to plant on some sap. But the cops would never mishandle evidence, would they? 🤔
