How do you deal with the fired at will thing when you get old for example?
I mean the most basic answer is that it really isn't a problem unless you create one. Even at the most bottom of the barrel jobs, it's still more expensive for the employer to hire and train a new employee than to just keep a current one. This is even more relevant for positions people would consider a "career". So it's no like people are just being fired at random or something.
The main reason the ps4 pro came out was the relatively sudden mass adoption of 4k tvs as the new standard. Sony wanted something that could reliably take advantage of it
The bots only post in their own communities, and not just random ones, no? It doesn't really seem like an issue if so. Block those instances, and then you won't interact with them at all?
It largely depends on what the online functionality does. Pirating software that heavily relies on external servers as opposed to your machine isn't really feasible. But if it's just a phone home to verify, someone has probably cracked it
Yeah, I totally get not wanting kids to play online games.
The main reason I wanted to bring these things up is because it seems you have more of a problem with live service games done poorly rather than with the principle of them on their own.
In an MP context, you get into peer pressure if you don't have a cool skin or whatever
Perhaps it's just my own experience, but I find next no no pressure whatsoever to buy skins, and never really have. Yeah, there's the occasional skin with bs particles or a broken animation and they end up being cheat skins basically, but they usually get patched fast these days.
I mean... OK? There's nothing wrong with just wanting stuff in a game you've played for a while and plan on sticking with. Even as an adult with adult money, I still occasionally buy things like skins in games. Because ultimately I'm not always looking for a new game to play. I like the ones I already play. Nothing wrong with throwing $20 at a game I've played for years and would easily play for just as long going forward.
Sony wishing they didn't make the vita is a double edged sword, because it also means you can be a completely obvious hacker, and Sony doesn't give a singular fuck. And they still ban people for hacking on ps3, so it isn't just age.
It's certainly preferable to the alternative of forced redistribution by the government
