  • I'm aware. Doesn't mean I like it, or that it excuses making things worse

  • Blah blah blah I like the helicopter song

  • So, you're also American.

And I don't fucking want the American government involved either. Or the Chinese government. I don't even want industry jannies like the esrb ibvolved.

this sort of thing is not gonna be wildly unusual in a number of countries in Europe in other forms of media. That is, it'd be a little odd if this wasn't specifically done with video games, by the norms there.

So? It's still shit when they do it elsewhere too, but this is a thread about video games. "the government already fucks up other industries already" is possibly the absolute worst possible argument for doing something.

  • "everything is political" is just retarded cope from people like you who get upset that they can't use everything as a the basis of their political rants

  • Vimms lair is a good choice, though i don't think they're in .chd by default, rather just .iso, or a compressed .iso format. It's highly consistent in naming conventions, and has a pretty damn near full collection. Main downside is limited downloading speed, and no concurrent downloads, but if you're just looking to download games you're interested in and not every ps1 game, it should be fine

  • I like it, but damage model vs HP takes some getting used to. You actually have to learn to take hits in nonessential places, instead of just getting praised by mihaiy for flying headlong into a missile

  • A bit of a middle ground, but nuclear option is pretty fun, coming from someone who plays ace combat

  • Because I don't want governments having any pressure regarding what people make. If the EU actually respected games as art, they'd damn well understand how government pressure and money corrupts the final product.

  • If it means their grubby hand are out of it, yes.

  • I wish the EU would just fuck off of the games industry. The last thing we need is a bunch of eurotrash politicians pushing politics onto the industry

  • A folder with literally hundreds I've collected over time, rotating every 10 minutes

  • Not through steam, but I found a really cool add on type thing for ds4windows that configures the dualsense triggers to work and feel like the dual action gamecube triggers. It's absolutely amazing when I'm emulating gamecube stuff to actually have the same triggers

  • They could've at least had an "accidental data breach" or something instead of just sitting on their hands telling everyone else how cool the thing they can't have is

  • A huge amount of emoji use is either a) entirely redundant, and thus just unsightly clutter in the text as it doesn't fit in with any typical fonts, or b) completely lacking in general, shared meaning, such that it fails at being effective communication.

And yeah, there are situations in which they work, but typically it typically only does so in specific subcultures that have a common understanding of what various emoji mean. Because I'm sure you don't consider šŸ’¢šŸ’¢šŸ’¢ needs correction šŸ’¢šŸ’¢šŸ’¢ to be a sensible response to your own emoji, but it would be for many people
