I mean... OP interacted with a privacy feature. The tracking was already blocked, but if you go further, you might be interested in privacy in other ways. It's not an entirely unreasonable place to assume a user might be interested in your other privacy products.
That being said, I don't know that I would put all my privacy eggs in one basket with one company. I use a variety of products, free and paid.
Time to use a different app. Podcast Republic has served me well over the years. Keep in mind I use a proxy adblocker so I don't know if it has a ton of ads otherwise.

Used to use them a lot as a student, so now that I can, I donate occasionally. I don't have a problem with them basically gaming the system like SHITPOSTING_ACCOUNT said in another comment, and I'm aware of it.

The ease at which people have been able to point to something and say “_____ is why you’re banned” kind of scares me into thinking something deeper is going on.
This thought would normally cause someone to be introspective. "What is it about oneself which is causing me to get banned?". "Something deeper is probably going on" internally.
For the record, I've only ever been banned once in my life for something I've done or said, and that was 15 years ago. There are ways to say and do things which won't get you banned. I've been on many forums and participated in many subreddits. I've even moderated before. The fact that you have a written down online code of honor/ruleset (regardless of its contents) is a red flag.
