  • I talked to tech support once, they said it won't get fixed, and there was no workaround. It was a platform type site. So I'm not their direct custom. A small business is. And the people at the small business have never heard of firefox. So they don't even understand the problem.

  • Sadly I am running into more and more things that don't work on firefox. Stuff like medical record portals, financial websites for my companies retirement plan. Stuff I have little choice about. And most fail silently. They don't say it is the browser. I don't know how they are doing it, but google is winning the fight.

  • I know people want to pin this on trump, but I don’t see it. The nation system did what it usually does. Now maybe it should have done more. But that would be on not just trump, but the administrations that preceeded him too. Like why did so many people not get the alert? That isn't a new problem, but one that isn't getting solved.

The rest of the blame is local. Texas does run away from regulations. And clearly anyone housing children in a flood plain should have some regulations to keep those kids safe. Maybe they exist but weren't enforced, I dunno.

No child deserved to die before they had a chance to decide thier own idealogy as an adult.

Cheering for the adults who died is no better than cheering a out ICE raids. Neither targeted "bad" people.

  • No kings was just one round. The ones before were smaller. It's gaining momentum. But it usually requires a trigger event. And trump seems to love to provide them. It maybe a week, or a month away. But as long as they keep getting bigger, we are moving in the right direction.

  • I know you are a person who is trying to help others in a variety of ways. And I do applaud you for that. But ignoring the realities of others is the same that many are doing to you. Open your mind to those realities and you may be able to use that information to come up with better solutions instead of just saying other people need to magically change who they are.

  • There have been more and more protests, and the suze of the turn out grows each time. The nyc mayoral primary has also show a massive shift in voting priorities that has the potential to drastically shift politics in the country permanently. People are doing things, we just have to keep on doing them until something works. Dictators have ruled the majority of the populations of Earth for a very long time for a reason. They have the advantage.
