It wouldn't let me into my morning meeting, it glitched out with jumping ellipses. I quit the program then when I tried to relaunch it went into a cycle of starting then immediately crash. This went on for two minutes before I restarted the computer. After restarting the computer then relaunched Teams it proceeded to crash/start four times before loading so I can attend my meeting.
This kind of stuff is habitual. I now set alarms five minutes before meetings so I have enough time to press a button.
You're more than welcome. I'm an absolute Aztec history dork so it's always a pleasure to rant about them. Truthfully I don't know about the Maya as much as central Mexico, but I know their moon goddess is called Ix Chel who holds a rabbit a lot.
Both Coyolxauhqui and Tecciztecatl are lunar deities.
According to the traditions of Central Mexico Tecciztecatl (also known as Tecuciztecatl) was the son (with breasts) of Tlaloc & Chalchiuhtlicue. Their name translates to "Person from Conch Land (place)" and is depicted with a sea shell on their head in the Codex Borgia. He was chosen to become the new solar deity in Teotihuacán during the creation of the 5th sun, but hesitated at the last moment. Nanahuatzin then threw himself into the sacred pyre created for the ritual thus becoming Tonatiuh the sun. Tecciztecatl shamed then followed becoming the moon (after getting a rabbit thrown at them).
Coyolxauhqui is a lunar deity in the pantheon of the Tonochca who are the Mexica residents of Tenochtitlán. She is the sister of Huitzilopochtli the patron deity of the altepetl (city-state) who was a solar deity and her a lunar counterpart. She was dismembered by Huitzilopochtli and either all her parts or just her head (I can't remember which) was thrown into the sky to become the moon.
The word Aztec was invented in the early 1800's by a German scholar so that's why I pointed out regional differences.
I want to make an 8-bit rpg in the vein of Final Fantasy set in Mesoamerica.
In the beginning you select classes/characters based on historical roles from the region. The class choice designates party roles and gives access to skills that are manually input via arrow keys or d-pad. Those skills drain a stamina resource that is refilled in combat.
I want a magic system that resembles Metaphor Refantasio. Completing achievements/challenges characters unlock forms (stored in mirrors) based on Mesoamerican mythology that give access to spells that use mana points as a resource and a limit break transformation. There will be twenty forms, one for each symbol in the Tonalpolhualli.
I want to write it in Lua so I can give it Balatro like bells and whistles. Or JavaScript because this whole thing is a total fantasy.
I've been thinking about purchasing an e-bike (I just sold my car because I never use it). Do you have any suggestions where I should begin researching for the quality of e-bikes?
Ahhh hell you're right I'll go make a correction. I like Aztec history way more than U.S.A. history so I'm not surprised I've been mistaken about this for decades.
I grew up in Texas under Clinton, Bush, Obama, and then Trump. Our leaders are feckless at best and monsters at worst. I'm so ashamed of my fellow Americans by allowing a political spectrum that is scoped and framed to never address looming tangible existential issues to be the only one ever considered, but also the incessant slop media produces to placate the lowest common denominator amongst the population. I'm so frustrated being surrounded by simpletons, lorded over by rich morons, and being economically stunted because I'm descended from idiot junkies.
Culturally the Americas has been rotten long before the slave owning richest man in the country turned warlord so a new set of elites could replace the British nobility.
Edit: Correction, Washington wasn't the richest man in the Americas at the time. Just tremendously wealthy by the standards of the time. My apologies about the inaccuracy.
Putting it out there:
