Nah. What i think alot of people are missing is none of this is about the economy or politics. What happened is white folk got their tribe back. They won't give a shit as long as he's making America white again.
I for one hope the Chinese do better in their upcoming days and years as the global superpower than we did.
Either post or mid mass migration. Big old swaths of the earth are gonna be tougher to inhabit in the coming decades. We'll probably pave the way with famines and genocides. I'm sure the wealth gap will only grow. Most of us will be vegetarian.
Coinage in this country is one of my pet peeves. We should have a 3, 5, an .50 coins in regular circulation. Coins can work great. They can work fast too.
I can't believe people shit all over the coin (Sacagawea dollar piece) like they did. They should have made it bigger though, too similar to a quarter to easily distinguish by feeling.

I know china has done some pretty fucked up things. But they've also built 25,000 miles of high speed rail, and a billion, that's 1000000000, sq ft of new housing, just in the past ten years. I don't know what percentage of the world's solar panels come from China, but I'd bet it's up there. They brought a billion people out of bone crushing stomach churning poverty in the course of a few decades.
When you stack up the fucked up things we in the west have done, vs what China's been up to... If given the option I'd think long and hard about emigrating to china.

So, projects? I would love to see a solution to home prices and the inequality they create but I think projects have been shown to work out poorly in the US.
