To add on to this, there's no such thing as an alt account. You will eventually let something slip that will lead back to your main or to you. It's not plausible, but it is possible and I act accordingly.
Honestly, they can't. The way IT works is there's multiple levels. First level, second level, third level. Whenever anybody calls in, they get first level, which are usually either inexperienced people, new people, or people with no experience whatsoever, and they're all reading scripts. They're the gatekeepers for level 2, 3, and 4, the people who actually know what they're doing. It's because 99 out of 100 people don't know shit and it just needs to be restarted and they would clog up the time of people who actually know what they're doing and nothing would ever get done.
And if one of those level one guys accidentally lets through somebody who should have been taken care of by their script, they will get reamed the fuck out for wasting people's time who gets paid more an hour than they do a day.
I worked at Goodwill sorting donations 20 years ago. This is nothing new. They price according to what they think they can get for it. And if we got in designer stuff that we thought we could make money off of, there was a Goodwill website we sold it on. This is the way it's always been.
It is, which is why the comment didn't advocate for it. Signal has more robust encryption than telegram, but its not zero-trust. They should really be using private hosted services instead of public or pgp, but when battle kicks off you use whatever works and then go back and revise as needed when you're not dodging bombs.
