Basically, our brain just handles our cognitive needs, and filters consciousness, which is a fundamental property of the universe. Think what you will, but this is a pretty popular theory in the past decade or so. Among physicists and neurologists alike...

This shit angers me to no end. Where I live, they built this wonderful highway around the greater metro area. Said it'd be a toll road for 25 years until paid off. We're on year 29 now, because they needed to "update" it.

I'd argue that the only fairly accurate source of news, in America atleast, is non-profit, publicly funded. PBS, NPR, etc.

For example, NPR will do a hit piece on Amazon, even though Amazon is an underwriter for NPR.
