For switch: probably custom keyboard shop, I'm pretty sure they have small pack of 10 or sampler option. Not sure where you are located, but one of the option I saw for US is hippokeys. Cant vouch for them, however, as I haven't ordered anything from them.

As for keycaps: unfortunately there is no actually good answer for this atm (or probably moving forward, tbh). If you want cute color(s) for keycaps, there's little to no chance that they will support backlit. Backlit keycaps tend to cover the most basic of layout with the most marketable of color and/or color combo choice. Unfortunately, your current keyboard setup is (for better or worse) neither of those. The font face on backlit is also egregious as the standard mold is probably the same as those gaming keyboard. I honestly think you're better off not changing the keycaps or changing it to another non-backlit option.

I personally think that it'd be easier for you to replace the switches that suits what you need than replacing the entire keyboards.

If I'm not wrong, your keyboard is hotswappable; so you can just swap the switches without need of soldering.

As for possible switch replacement, most aftermarket switch out there are MX compatible and should fit you keyboard. Some pointers for your possible switch replacements are as follows: follows:

• Accidental presses can be prevented by heavier spring, so do look up what your current switch spring actuation force and consider something with a heavier actuation force.
• Another possible solution to accidental press is to switch to a different "feel" by using something like tactile or clicky switches. I personally do not recommend this approach as it's not as reliable when it comes to preventing accidental input while adding more noise when you actually want to use said keyboard.
• Additionally, option like "Silent" switches exists to adjective to said feel. They dampen any noise made by the switch in exchange of the overall sensation, however, so you might wanna check on them beforehand.
• Most importantly, DO NOT buy the switch replacement for your entire keyboard switches unless you are somewhat sure that you like it. Buy several different switch that piques your interest in a batch of 4-5 or see if there are any local keyboard community/entusiast(s) to try what they have.

As for keycaps, pretty sure a lot of purchasable keycaps set that support backlight are compatible with your keyboard. The right shift make things wonky, but I saw a website that does have em in store.

Depends, really. But here are some tidbits that might help with your consideration:

• You can purchase whatever available options as long as they have an MX holes.
• Most of the puddings are OEM from my short research. As long as the keycaps face look "familiar" to what you currently have, you can safely assume that it's either OEM or Cherry profile. The main difference AFAIK is that OEM is slightly taller than Cherry.
• For ANSI, most of them available options are ANSI so this shouldn't be a problem. ISO sets are pretty rare on premade keycaps set and they usually tells you whether they support ISO or not.
• Bottom row might be an issue as there are some different size combinations, but as your keyboard uses vanilla TKL configuration; the usual stuff should be fine (all keys on 1.25u except for spacebar, which uses 6.25u).
• As for the key counts, getting more keys than what you useis probably a thing that you have to live with. Premade sets tend to give you more to lower the cost on their end. You definitely can get a set that matches exactly with what you have, but these are few and far between.
• Custom bottom row keys on pudding might be hard to find, whether its included on your set or otherwise. I haven't done more research on this too.

That said, I think HyperX have a pudding set that might fulfill most of what you want.

I might misunderstood some terms here, but I feel like our understanding of what tap-dance is might be different.

That said, here's an ilustration of what I got on my Minidox. I also use something similar on my QAZ, although that one got 32 keys instead of 36.

Edit: actually, I think the latest version got the whole semicolon and Backspace switched. The semicolon button is backspace by default and P + Backspace gives me semicolon. Main reasoning are: rarely use semicolon and fighting the primal urge of pinky finger to backspace is hard (I rotate between sub40s and 40s at least once a week)

Personally, most of my 36 and below boards are programmed such that i'd rely on tap dance less. I'd rather put it in a layer, explode it inside the layer for things like parantheses and brackets, or arrange a combo for things that are frequently used but cannot be assigned into a designated first layer.

Partially because I already have a layout that works on a bigger 40% boards, but another factor of it is how awkward tapdance have always felt to me.

As for the kanata thing: can't say I can comment further as I've never used it before.

Might have something to do with tap hold configuration, though im not sure which one. This applies to almost all key interactions in qmk, so its worth to at least understand the underlying principle.
