Might depend on where you're from. I'm from a small town and especially the older generations love their "Timmy's" in a way I've not heard any other brand of coffee compete with.
It'll be interesting to how they're impacted in 20 years or so now that newer generations have grown up with more options
Yea CDPR doesn't really belong in this picture. They always put in a ton of time and effort on their releases to make right by the fans. The other guys, not so much...
Reminds me of the old iTunes shuffle thing. When it was first introduced it was actually random but too many people complained it was broken when they heard the same artist multiple times in a row so they rewrote it as a shuffle algorithm that would feel more random than actual random.
Just goes to show, we don't actually want random, we want variety.
Nope, there's a specific promotion in the PC app where you can exchange 14000 points for a month of Apple TV plus. You might need to be a PC insider subscriber to get it, not sure
This year I had 6 streaming services (Netflix, Disney, Apple, Crave (HBO in Canada), Prime and Paramount)
I turned off Netflix for the first time in 12 years this month. Disney will go soon. I probably won't renew Crave again this year unless they have another big black Friday deal. If Prime charges more on top of their regular service I won't be upgrading. Apple is still cheap enough and I can trade PC points (Canadian loyalty points for a chain of pharmacies and grocery stores). That just leaves Paramount which is all my mother-in-law watches.
I've got the full arr system up and running and I'll be buying a couple 20tb hard drives if they go on sale during black Friday
It works to be less than a penny per beer. If you were a heavy drinker and had 4 beers every day it's like a dollar more each month. As far as tax hikes go I wouldn't worry much about this one
The US has an election cycle coming up next year and the new misinformation tools are sharper and way more convincing than ever. On behalf of the rest of the world, good luck, we'll be sitting here with our popcorn.
It's been a while but if I remember correctly Terminator 3 ends with this basically becoming a reality anyway
